As the founder and owner of Stilista|Boston, Maria sees style as an art, a science and an absolute necessity! Maria hails from a business / marketing background, and had a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University. Maria's previous corporate experience is a great asset to her current work with corporate groups and clients that are in a business setting. Along with managing Stilista, Maria is also a Senior Fashion Stylist and a Style Educator for Stilista|Seminars, speaking to groups of all sizes about the topics of professional style, branding through personal style, accessorizing how-to workshops and style for executives and frequent travelers. “I have to say that I am passionate about bridging the gap between the fashion world and real world style, and helping each client figure out the best personal style for them. Clothing has to be wearable, comfortable and properly suited for each individual's lifestyle. I've been styling and personal shopping for nearly seven years, so I have worked with a very wide variety of clients and met some amazing people. My particular areas of interest and expertise are menswear, 50+ style, fitness industry style and mom clients, including maternity and post-partum transitional style” shares Maria. Maria is greatly inspired by her clients, her team and the infinite nature of fashion and style. To continue expanding her knowledge of fashion, beauty and style, Maria travels, observes street style, reads style publications and enjoys meeting new people and seeking out their unique perspective. Maria’s personal look is a feminine fusion of tailored pieces, European style, vintage silhouettes (she’s never met a pencil skirt she didn’t like!), accessories with bohemian and mod influences, and lots of denim and boots.
" Maria, thank you so much for your help today. You worked tirelessly to create a great new wardrobe for me. I came home, tried things on and was nearly in tears with happiness--the clothes are beautiful and even make me look taller! Really, you provide an invaluable service, and you are very skilled at your job. Again, thank you so much for your help today. I am sure I will be calling on you again!" (Melissa M.)

Cory has always had a love for all things fashion – clothing, accessories, and especially shoes. Even at a young age, you could find him scouring the outlets in Wrentham and the shops in Boston for a back-to-school wardrobe revamp. Cory received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. After college, Cory developed his business experience and knowledge of the athletic clothing and footwear industry at Reebok International. He worked in Global Operations for Reebok apparel and then spent some time as an Associate Product Marketing Manager for Kids’ footwear working to identify trends in the market and bring the product lines to life. Cory currently works in operations for a high-end footwear and handbag distribution company, supporting customers such as Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom, and small boutiques. He researches the latest trends and styles by reading fashion magazines/blogs, admiring street style, and exploring the market. Cory is knowledgeable about both men and women’s fashion (and honored to be Stilista’s first male stylist!), and equally passionate about both. His personal style can be described as preppy with an edge: he loves to mix affordable basics and carefully selected luxury pieces from favorite designers such as Diesel and Ted Baker. He lends an artistic eye when selecting the right color and pattern for the individual, while also paying careful attention to fit and proportion. Cory also has a talent for researching desired items and finding the best possible price, which is great for budget-conscious clients. His goal in styling is to inspire clients to step outside of their style comfort zone a bit, while still feeling confident, fabulous and excited to debut their new outfits.
"Cory was amazing to work with! As a new mom I was struggling to find outfits that were easy, flattering, and stylish. Cory figured out the look that I was trying to achieve, took my personality into account, and did a great job of helping me find pieces that were both work and weekend (and baby!) appropriate, all while staying within my budget." "Stephanie was a total trooper during my wardrobe consult when the fire alarm in my building went off and stayed on for nearly an hour - she didn't let it slow her down at all. She was AMAZING at finding me outfits for my upcoming wedding events, bachelorette party and honeymoon on our shopping trip." (Paige G.)

Specialties: Petites - Special Occasion - Teens/ Young Adults - Business - BargainLauren studied Visual Arts and Education at Wheelock College where she earned her B.A. Her flare for creativity and appreciation of aesthetics has always gone hand in hand with her eye for style. Enthusiasm for clothing was instilled in Lauren by her mother who taught her at a young age to recognize a good garment at a great value. To this day, their favorite pastime together is scouring discount racks for treasures! After years of buying and trying it all, she understands how frustrating and overwhelming shopping can be. Thus, she has learned the art of cultivating a simple, well-edited wardrobe that’s ready on-the-run and believes in quality over quantity when it comes to the closet. Lauren has nearly a decade of experience in upscale consignment. Learning the resale business gave her a very unique opportunity having first-hand exposure to a diverse array of designers and collections from consigners all over the world. Her extensive background in customer service and education has played an essential role in teaching a variety of clientele to look and feel their best. She knows well what clothing will work for someone’s personality, lifestyle, and physique and she feels that sharing this knowledge is the most rewarding kind of educating. In addition to being part of the Stilista team, Lauren is a professional lifestyle photographer, another outlet in which she hones her visually artistic drive. She has especially been enjoying contributing to the StilistaBoston Instagram account, sharing imagery and information on fellow local businesses, style tips, and Stilista services and promotions!
Jennifer is an accessories maven and the go-to stylist for high/low shopping (being able to leverage one’s shopping budget to include both upscale and inexpensive items and bring together one fabulous wardrobe). Jennifer graduated from Lasell College with a major in fashion merchandising. Her passion and love for fashion brought her to New York where she became a buyer for Cole Haan. She spent 6 years with the company, moving on with strong knowledge about proper fit, comfort, and quality in footwear. With her love for accessories she continued her career with two fine jewelry industry leaders: John Hardy & Judith Ripka. A few years ago, Jennifer moved back to Boston and assembled many trend-setting looks as a Visual Merchandiser for one of the fastest growing bargain fashion retailers: Forever 21. Currently Jennifer is a buyer for TJX – which means she really knows what’s happening in bargain retailers! She loves to follow the latest trends and incorporates them into her style by mixing classic looks with trendy inspirations.
"[Jennifer] is very personable and took time to learn about my preferences and budget before we even started going through my closet. I came through the experience with a much better idea about the style of slacks that fit me best and some great "rules of thumb" for colors and the follow-up list of clothes ideas included websites where I could buy them." A graduate from Union College and member of the women's varsity lacrosse team, Molly earned her degree in Communications with a focus in Studio Art. She has lived all over the world, from Barbados to New Zealand, finally making Boston her home. As a self-proclaimed "girly-tomboy" her style runs the gamut from classic to casual and from sporty to sophisticated. She has a flair for detail and loves to mix labels, looks and trends using high and low-end products to create a true signature look. While Molly loves to rock a jumpsuit, some of her favorite staple pieces include skinny jeans, a white button-down chiffon shirt, anything chambray, and statement necklaces. Molly enjoys taking items from a client's closet, like sweaters, blazers, and t-shirts, reworking and accessorizing them for a fresh take and a new look. Molly is passionate about overcoming the challenges of dressing to impress while still being true to yourself. Above all else she loves helping her clients unlock their own personal style. Molly ensures not only that you look great - but feel great too!
Molly listened so carefully to my style preferences and wish list for what I look for in clothing. She took all my requests in stride, and found me great fitting clothes that suited my body type and worked as outfits. She saved me an enormous amount of time and buyer's regret. An absolute win.
