When we were invited to a special welcome brunch for the opening of Peruvian Connection’s store on Newbury Street, we couldn’t say no.
The fine folks at West Bridge in Cambridge created a lovely spread for an intimate morning with Peruvian Connection founder and CEO Annie Hurlbut, and the attendees got to take an exclusive look at the Fall 2013 collection – several pieces of which the Stilista team is already coveting, like the sweater coat above.

The brand new, beautifully designed store is at 170 Newbury Street and opened a week ago, so stop by and check it out for yourselves. While they’re well-known for their gorgeously photographed catalogs, seeing and feeling the pieces in person is a special, addictive experience that we Bostonians are now very lucky to have in our own backyard.
As longtime fans of their rich textiles – softer-than-soft Andes alpaca and Peruvian pima cotton – and beautiful, artisan-made original designs, it’s going to be a really exciting addition to the neighborhood!
*If you needed a little extra push to drop by, now through Monday they’re having a Memorial Day sale, where you can snag already-reduced items for an additional 20% off. A little birdie told me a ton of new product was shipped to the new Boston flagship just for this, so get it while you can! (Headed out of town for the holiday? The sale is online, too. Lucky you!)
