One of the biggest trends to gain momentum this year after an introduction last year is the bootie. Think of it as the best high heel money can buy for winter, i.e. you should have at least one black pair in your closet this fall! While there are an endless variety of shapes, colors, and heel heights, start with a basic and expand from there if you love the style. Depending on your love of heel height, start with a basic black leather pair, with a heel appropriate for your everyday work and running around life. Then, make sure and wear them on a regular basis with a dress and tights, skinny jeans, or even hidden under your favorite pair of flares. While I will forever love and wear my black riding boots this winter, anytime I am hoping to take my look to the next level or make it feel a bit dressier, I will make sure and work the bootie.
