Smiling Stiletto

I recently attended an event for Smiling Stiletto, a shoe club based in Boston. Going into the event I really did not know what to expect, only that my shoe loving friend Laurie was coming with me! Upon arriving at the event, Laurie and I were instantly greeted by the club president, Catherine Pisacane, who told us more about the club. They meet once or twice a month at different venues around Boston for about two hours. There is always food, drinks, and most importantly great shoes! It really felt like a girls club to me, Laurie and I came together, but met tons of interesting women throughout the night. We talked about life in general, upcoming events, and where to get the best deals on your next pair of heels. At the end of the event, ladies could strut their stuff down the pink carpet, to show off their moves and shoes in hopes of winning a prize. I sat back and watched this time, but after seeing the spectacle of it all, I will definitely compete at the next event!
