Do you like your sneakers to be clean and white? Well, as the wife of a sneaker-head and the owner of a pair of Chuck Taylors in almost every color, I certainly do.
Recently, I got some grease on an almost-brand-new pair of navy blue Converse All-Stars when I hopped over the T tracks on my way downtown one morning. Total bummer. For the life of me,
I could not get the grease off…and that stain really irked me.
Then, one morning, I had an epiphany. I broke out the Mr. Clean “Magic Eraser” from beneath the kitchen sink and went to work…and it worked! I immediately took it to the rubber toes and trim of all my Converse sneakers. Now they are all shiny, white and ready for spring!
Now, if the weather would just clear up so that canvas sneakers with cuffed jeans were appropriate…
