Dolce & Gabbana’s spring 2011 ready-to-wear collection is by far my favorite of the season. I am not usually a fan of Dolce & Gabbana for women because of their overly dramatic cuts and patterns – what can I say, I am from Boston! But, this season, they created a sexy, feminine line by using only black and white. The collection is realistic for the every day woman, yet each and every piece has something subtly special about it!
For their one-color ensembles, the co-designers combined all different kinds of fabrics including lace, chiffon, and eyelet. Then, they added sparkles, jewels, and fun overlays to make these sexy outfits feminine and modern. The light bounced off these adornments and the white runway that they were sent down fabulously!
Even if we can’t all afford these great outfits, I think we can all steal an idea or two from this year’s collection.
1. Don’t be afraid to wear all black or white! It’s eyecatching and you can select interesting fabrics to dress it up.
2. White boho dresses are in, especially ones with a 70’s vibe.
3. WINTER IS OVER. It’s time to feel sexy again!!!
