Writing my blog about Theory’s Max C pants (which I put on yet another client this weekend) got me to thinking about all of those items – or categories of items – that I return to time and time again because I KNOW that they are useful, stylish and will serve my clients well.
Some stylists would keep their styling secrets, well, secret. But, not this girl. Stilista is all about spreading the fashion love and making Boston – and beyond – a more fashionable place to be!
So, on that note, let’s talk about BCBG’s “sweater-jackets.”
Max Azria seems to put out one or more “sweater-jackets” each season at BCBG. These useful pieces are structured and cut like jackets but they are knit like sweaters. The result? The sophistication and dress-level of a traditional jacket, but the comfort and warmth of a sweater. In my book, that is a no-brainer!! Not only do you get the best of both worlds, but the item can be used in a much more casual manner that any traditional jacket could, thus extending its cost per wear.
I highly recommend adding one to your closet ASAP!!
