My blog from two Sundays ago about where to find the best boots got me thinking about other themes within my closet. I quickly realized that my favorite scarves in my extensive scarf collection all come from Zara.
My first scarf purchase from Zara was a blurred navy and grey leopard print number. I love it. It is a square scarf and thus is best worn Middle-Eastern style in a triangle down the chest in order to display its pattern. It is an “outfit-maker.” It can literally transfrom a simple gray grandpa cardigan and jeans or a navy and white striped tee and cargo pants into a fahsionable ensemble.
My second scarf purchase from Zara was a simple grey jersey scarf. It is long and lean and perfect for wrapping around my neck multiple times or wrapping it once and letting the ends artfully dangle or wrapping it twice and knotting the ends…whatever the outfit calls for. I reach for it often.
My third scarf purchase from Zara took place this weekend. The scarf is charcoal gray with tan-colored constellations on it. I am VERY excited about it. I have a great charcoal grey assymetrical top from All Saints and a pair of tan suede Fiortentini + Baker biker boots that are very excited to be paired with it. And, I imagine that there will be numerous other outfits that will be enhanced by it.
So, if you are in the market for some new scarves, are searching for a great gift idea or have some tired outfits that need to be refreshed, head to Zara and a grab yourself a scarf or two. At only $20 – $30, they are a no-brainer!
Happy Shopping!
