During my first month in Paris, I kept a eye out for something fabulous and glamorous to write about for my first blog. When nothing in particular was standing out, I intensified the amount of people-watching that I partook in.
Everywhere I went – every time I rode the train or went for my run – I was on the lookout. After seeing everything from crazy, over-the-top, march-to-the-beat-of-your-own-drum fashion to obvious fads, it hit me… What sets Parisians apart is how incredibly adept they are at turning a trend into something all their own!!
It had been so difficult to find something interesting to write about because I was trying to do the impossible and put these glamorous women in a box and group them together. Instead, I should have been celebrating their uniqueness.
I think we should all take a hint from these women. No one should be afraid to try out a unique look or put their own spin on a trend! If you carry yourself with confidence and purpose, you will exude style… much like the women of Paris.

P.S. During Paris FashionWeek, I sat across from two designers on the train. I never caught their names or clothing labels but they spoke of their models, events and clothes! I couldn’t believe it! It will definitely be one of my favorite fashion memories from my time in Paris…just had to share!
