I just love when someone has the idea to take a totally unstylish necessity, and transforms them into a must-have accessory (Iphone, IMac, IPad anyone?). Stilista found the eyewear equivalent this weekend at the Vizio Optic event in Brookline: The necklace eyeglass holder. Now, I have seen some of these eyeglass holders around and most are gaudy beads a la 90 year old librarian or nylon strings that work for sports. The necklaces at Vizio are so beautiful that they can function as basic jewelry as well! Imagine that, two in one!

There are tons of other styles too! It’s hard to tell with my IPhone (natch!) pictures, but the second to the left necklace on the mat has tiny little metal rock n’ roll studs. My favorite was the tortoise shell chunky necklace! Visit Vizio Optic in Brookline for a closer look.
