The Stilista + Vizio Optic Event was a success! Champagne was sipped, strawberries dipped in chocolate were noshed and Stilista clients put the finishing touches on their re-vamped wardrobes with new eyewear and sunwear.

 

Vizio Optic treated all of the guests to 25% off of all prescription lenses purchased during the event and helped numerous guests update and refresh their frames.

 

And then there was the Chanel...

 

An extrememly knowledgable and fashionable Chanel eyewear and sunwear representative was on hand to unveil Chanel's Spring 2010 collection and educate the guests about the themes and
construction of the collection.

 

The overwhelming theme was that of femininity. Accents of pearls, ribbons, mirrors, crystals and gems appeared throughout. In addition, Chanel relied heavily upon the traditional themes
of the fashion house. Acetate was engineered to look like lace and tweed and numerous frames were two-toned - all very classic elements of the Chanel brand.   

 

In addition to offering the buyer classic femininity, Chanel has introduced entry level prices on particular styles in an effort to gain new customers and retain long-time customers during
this time of economic instability. One of my favorite pairs - a large black rounded rectangular frame with small white bow accents at each temple was priced at $270! Still expensive, but
much more reasonable than the $400 - $500 price points of a few years ago! I am seriously considering them for the summer...
