Woven chains of material have been popping up as accessories everywhere lately. The handmade look packs a major punch of artsy cool to any outfit without the hefty price tag that normally comes with statement jewelry. Go for a free-spirited and organic look and throw on a fabric necklace paired with a floral blouse and wide cuffed pants. Add it under your button down oxford shirts at the office for a fun twist. Or, try it over a basic solid tee on the weekend (the weight of the fabric is great for grounding a floaty top)!

PS- lots of people have attempted to make their own woven necklaces on Etsy. Try it yourself if you are adventurous by ripping up old t-shirts or clothing into long thin strips and braiding or crocheting together. Then connect the ends with a necklace clasp from any craft or bead store.
