Gym Fashion

I take my gym fashion almost as seriously as I do my "regular" fashion. The reason? If I know
I look good in my gym clothes, I am more motivated to wear them and thus, head to the gym.

In honor of all of the weight-loss and work-out resolutions that most - if not all - women
are going to make in a few days, I thought that I would compile a list of some of my tried
and true gym fashion pieces.

1. Lululemon's "Groove" Pant
For all you gym rats, I know I am not breaking any new ground here. However, there
are women out there who still don't know about them and - as a fashion blogger - I feel that
it is my duty to spread the word. In a nutshell, they fit like a dream. They have a moderate
rise which keeps your underwear where it should be - under your pants - and your midsection is
covered. Also, they have a mild flair to them which allows them to rest just perfectly on your
sneaker. Plus - as an added bonus - they are reversible, giving you two different looks in
one pant.

2. Lululemon's no-slip headband
Lululemon makes many different types of headbands, but I believe that their no-slip version
is the best. It is just the right thickness and the no-slip grip keeps it from sliding off
your head no matter what you are doing. I can't work out without one!

3. Puma's no-show sock
This tiny little bootie is soft, the perfect thickness and stays hidden in your sneaker,
making shorts and capris wearable again. Also - unlike other, similar socks - it won't slip
off your heel.

4. Nike Navina Shox running shoe
I am currently wearing my second pair of these sneakers. They are extremely comfortable and
offer an incredible fit if you have a narrow foot like mine. The Shox are bouncy, but not too
high that I can't wear the sneakers to Step class or Kickbocking. And, I keep finding them
at the Nike Outlet, so they are very reasonable.

5. Incase's sports armband
This neoprene case is the perfect home for your iPod or iPhone during your workout. It keeps
your mp3 player out of the way, but still within reach. It cleans easily in your sink by hand
and is the only armband that I tried that actually fit my arm. It seemed like every other
version was made for a dude with huge biceps!!

6. Lululemon's Convertible Gym Bag
This incredible gym bag shrinks or grows according to its contents. A must-have for the saavy
and fashionable commuter!

Hopefully this list helps you to get off on the right foot with your New Year's resoutions.

fashion in every aspect of your life - even at the gym!
