Here’s a look that was all over the runways that can maximize your closet’s potential by working your cardigans double-time!  Layering two cardigans is easy if you follow a few simple rules

1.  Choose thin weight cardigans that are cut slim so when layered they don’t create bulk

2.  Try mixing cardigans with different sleeve lengths, cuts or necklines to create visual interest

3.  Add a belt to the first cardigan or over both to define a waistline

4.  Have fun mixing prints for an eclectic look!

Guys can get in on the action too by layering thin cotton cardigans (like from American Apparel) just as they would cotton tees.  This look shown would look great if you put a plaid collared shirt underneath!
