One of the biggest trends for Fall 2009 is fur. From fur trimmed gloves to fur vests, it was a large part of many of the designer collections this fall. And while it may lend a luxurious feel to your winter wardrobe, there is nothing glamorous about the reality of where that fur came from. However, you needn’t pass on this trend entirely – there are plenty of upscale faux-fur options for those of us who love our animal friends, like the above vest, by Rebecca Taylor. So, when you’re eyeing that gorgeous fur-trimmed cashmere coat this season, take a moment to check the label to be sure it’s faux. Because cruelty is one thing that is never in fashion.
