What's Your Style Signature?

Audrey Hepburn had her shades, Anna Wintour rocks her signature bob hairstyle, Sienna Miller practically trademarked bohemian chic... These ladies know what they like and what works for them, and include it in their daily style. The result? They know what works for them and what defines their look and we recognize their style as unique and, most importantly, their own. Within Stilista, we see our team having their own style signatures: a yellow flower broche for one, chic Prada spectacles for another, layered long necklaces for yet another... My personal style signature would have to be the blackest of hair colors and pencil skirts! 

Once you define what your style signature is, your search in the stores will become simpler and your wardrobe selection more streamlined. Your signature pieces should transcend seasonal trends, and be able to integrate from look to look. To hone in on this, think about what types of garments, colors, accessories have you bought many times over? What do you reach for time and time again? What makes you feel completely at ease when you wear it? It could be one specific piece, like Aviator sunglasses, or it could be a theme, like vintage, or tailored that applies to most of your garments. No matter who you are, what you do, what your age, preference, or budget, you are capable of finding your specific style signature. Happy hunting!
