Ok, like everyone else I was shocked to hear of Michael Jackson’s death. As I thought of what I was going to write about, I couldn’t get him off of my mind. He was known as king of Pop but what about style icon? I know the last few years he was a bit rough on the eyes but lets go back before the craziness started.
I started looking for photos of a better time for Michael. I couldn’t help but remember how cool he was back then. The jeweled glove, penny loafers ,military jackets, ankle pants and even a white t-shirt with jeans looked amazing. Look at any young star and I bet you his/her outfits begining started with Michael. I know why, these starlets are being dressed by people who grew up to Michael loving him and wanting to be as cool as him.
I chose not to put any recent photos of Michael. I rather remember the young, cool Michael that I loved and adored.
