For my final swimsuit post, I want to talk bikinis, well, two-pieces…
I know I mentioned Lands’ End has great one-piece suits a few weeks ago, but they also have great two-pieces. Just like for their one-pieces, they offer numerous options for their two-pieces. D-cup, DD-cup, short torso, long torso, plus size, two different leg heights for their bottoms… And you can order different sizes for your top & bottom to get the perfect fit. I’m usually an itty-bitty bikini girl, but I’m having a baby in June, and I know I won’t be back in shape this summer. I’m going to rock this tankini all summer–the shirred bodice will hide my tummy & the simple bottoms will smooth out all of the other stuff.

I love, love, love ViX swimwear. The designer, Paula Hermanny, is from Brazil, and she uses the best Brazilian fabrics for her swimsuits. She also uses a lot of rings and other little details that make the simple silhouettes special. I have many ViX swimsuits, most of them over 5 years old, and they’re all in perfect condition. They’re pricey, so they’re definitely an investment piece, but they’ll last (almost) forever. I’m loving this green bandeau & shirred side bottom.

I also love Shoshanna for swimwear. Her designs focus on all of the modern styles & cuts, but with a little more coverage–especially for someone with a larger bust. She chooses colorful, but understated prints and solids. And she designs some amazing coverup pieces. This paisley halter top & brief set in classic navy, white & green is definitely a swimsuit that would look great on many different body types.

Now if only we could get that 95
