I’m a complete beauty junkie. I usually have no less than 5 lip glosses in my bag at all times, and I rush to the store whenever I hear about a new product–I just have to try it. But in my real-life, day-to-day morning rush, I have about 5 minutes to put on my makeup and head out the door. So I’ve come up with these 5 must-have products from Clinique that I keep in a little makeup bag on my kitchen counter. It takes me all of 5 minutes to feel awake, refreshed and pretty; and it’s something I can do at the kitchen table while my 3 year-old eats his toast.
I start with Almost Powder Makeup SPF 15. It gives my skin a flawless finish and my daily sunscreen all in one shot. The best part is the application sponge–I don’t have to get my hands dirty. Then I use Quick Blush. I love this one because it’s all in one. No more wasting time digging through my makeup bag for my blush brush. After that, I line my top lids with a little bit of Smoky Brown or Navy Quickliner for Eyes. It wakes my face right up. This one never has to be sharpened, and it comes with a little smudging sponge on the end. I use it to soften the line. After lining my eyes, I apply a coat of mascara. I’ve used all of Clinique’s mascaras, but lately I’m loving their Lash Doubling Mascara. Last, but not least, I swipe on a coat of Long Last Glosswear SPF 15. It really lasts forever and is super moisturizing and shiny. I love the Stellar Plum–I carry a second one in my bag for touch ups during the day.
