I have super curly hair that I wear down & straight 99% of the time. It looks great all winter, but come springtime, my hair & I go to battle. The rain & humidity make my perfectly flat-ironed locks spring up the second I walk out the door, and on a really bad day, the top layer of hair looks more like a layer of fuzz.
Instead of just carrying around a plain old hair elastic to pull my hair back when the aforementioned layer of fuzz happens, I’ve started to purchase cute & chic ponytail holders. They make me feel so much more polished–almost like I meant to pull my hair back for the day.
I love the ones from Goody that you can pick up at the drugstore. They’re inexpensive, and come in all sorts of styles. And I’m really into Gazzu’s button style ponytail holders. Look how chic they make these pulled back do’s. This spring, I might just start wishing for rainy days!
